Our history

degesa fire systems is part of the degesa Group.

degesa was founded in 1990 as a manufacturer-neutral and comprehensive security technology company. From the outset, the focus was on a comprehensive approach. The company’s success stems from its deep understanding that safety is a matter of trust and its ability and expertise to offer customers everything from a single source. Today, degesa consists of several companies. Each one is highly specialised. Together, they offer a broad range of services.

2002 Certification according to ISO DIN EN 9001:2000

2005 New business area developed: special fire extinguishing systems

2024 Founding of degesa fire systems GmbH: Specialist company for special extinguishing systems and technical fire protection.

2024 AF-X & degesa fire systems enter into an in-depth partnership: Exclusive manufacturing partner for the quality-leading aerosol extinguishing system for the German market.

2025 We are relocating! The degesa Group is moving to new business premises in Berlin Aldershof, thereby laying the spatial foundation for the next decades of success.
